Job summary

OIP Insurtech in India is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with stakeholders and engineering teams, driving complex initiatives and delivering high-impact solutions.

You'll lead end-to-end analysis across cross-functional projects, shape requirements, model data flows, and support architecture and development teams. The role requires strong SDLC, Agile experience, and excellent communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of software development concepts, architecture, and system integrations.
• Deep knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart.
• Strong domain knowledge in insurance, preferably Property & Casualty within US/UK markets.
• Ability to lead analysis efforts independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives end-to-end.
• Proven experience in mentoring junior analysts and contributing to best practices within the BA community.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, process modeling, and solution design.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven, and comfortable operating in fast‑paced, evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive requirements elicitation through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative sessions

• Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements (user stories, functional specs, process flows)
• Define and model data structures, integrations, and system interactions aligned with business goals
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, aligning business and technical teams on scope, priorities, and solutions
• Support and contribute to solution design, working closely with architects and development teams
• Ensure requirements quality through validation, refinement, and continuous stakeholder feedback
• Contribute to business case development and support decision-making with data-driven insights
• Promote and implement best practices in business analysis, improving processes, standards, and documentation
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and help teams maintain structure, clarity, and delivery focus
