Job summary

Occams Advisory is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Product Development team. You will leverage AI-driven insights to support service-based product development, driving operational excellence and seamless cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with experience in BRD/FRD, User Story & Flowchart creation, and strong stakeholder management. You will work closely with Developers, QA, and Product teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a service-based product environment.
• Experience in designing and building CRM/Project Management software.
• Proven track record of collaborating with Development, QA, and Product teams.
• Strong experience in Operations Management and driving Operational Excellence.

About Your Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will leverage AI-driven insights to support service-based product development, helping to drive operational excellence and seamless collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented—someone who takes initiative, embraces challenges, and excels in utilizing AI tools for Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), User Story & Flowchart Creation. Strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to work closely with Developers, QA, and Product teams, and experience in Operations Management are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency in BRD, FRD, User Story, and Flowchart creation, ensuring accuracy and streamlined documentation.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, facilitating clear communication and project alignment.
• Adapt quickly to business processes and industry-specific terminology to ensure effective requirement gathering and execution.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams to ensure seamless product development and timely delivery of solutions.
• Lead and facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive consensus and project success.
• Analyze business needs and process improvements, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Define and track key metrics to measure project success, efficiency, and business impact.
• Conduct impact analysis and assist in defining the scope of projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Support the product lifecycle from ideation to implementation, ensuring business goals are met effectively.
• Contribute to Operations Management by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements to drive Operational Excellence.

Success Metrics

• Documentation Accuracy – Maintain 100% compliance with BRD, FRD, and flowchart standards.
• Stakeholder Satisfaction – Achieve a minimum stakeholder satisfaction score of 90% in feedback surveys.
• Process Efficiency – Reduce process inefficiencies by at least 20% through optimization efforts.
• Project Timeliness – Ensure 95% on-time completion of deliverables within defined project timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a service-based product environment.
• Experience in designing and building CRM/Project Management software.
• Proven track record of collaborating with Development, QA, and Product teams.
• Strong experience in Operations Management and driving Operational Excellence.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Expertise in AI-driven tools for documentation, process mapping, and automation.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Figma, Visio, and AI-powered documentation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
