Job summary

SG Lottery India is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements elicitation, documentation, and user story creation within agile delivery teams in Bengaluru.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure well-defined acceptance criteria, traceability, and a high-quality backlog that enables smooth development, testing, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and Agile delivery.
• Ability to elicit, document, and clarify requirements with stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; translate into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog grooming and ensure stories are clear and ready for development.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UI/UX, Developers, and QA; flag gaps and dependencies.
• Provide functional clarification during development, testing, and UAT coordination.

Senior Business Analyst

8-12 years of overall experience with strong expertise in Business Analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, and Agile delivery.

Role Summary

The Senior Business Analyst works closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and delivery teams to elicit, document, and clarify requirements. The role supports backlog quality and functional clarity, ensuring user stories are well-defined and development-ready, while operating under the guidance of the Product Owner or Specialist BA for prioritization and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements & Documentation: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and workflows under the guidance of the Product Owner
• Backlog Support: Support backlog grooming and refinement, ensuring stories are clear, well-structured, and ready for development.
• Solution Collaboration: Work with Product Owners, Architects, UI/UX designers, Developers, and QA during solution design and delivery; flag requirement gaps, assumptions, dependencies, and edge cases.
• Delivery Support: Provide functional clarification during development and testing; support defect triage, UAT coordination, and business acceptance activities.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders to gather input, validate requirements, and communicate progress or blockers.
• Documentation & Traceability: Maintain requirement traceability, user story documentation, and business rule records.
