Job summary

Weekday 1 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Bengaluru to transform data into strategic insights and scalable automation. You will analyze large datasets, develop data-driven strategies, and present actionable findings to senior leadership.

You will collaborate with product, growth, and ops teams to build dashboards and models, leveraging SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel to drive decision making and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Economics/Statistics or related discipline.
• 3+ yrs. Experience in data analytics or data sciences, preferably for a product-oriented company.
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation tools and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel.

Responsibilities

• You’ll work with large, complex data sets to solve high-impact business problems, which will have a direct impact on the growth of the company.
• You easily automate Analytics Dashboards, through an understanding of data structures, SQL and no SQL dbs
• Solving these problems will involve data mining, experimentation, statistical analysis, and related techniques, and machine learning using tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel etc.
• You’ll be involved in multiple cycles of data analysis – forming an initial hypothesis, extracting, analyzing, dissecting that data as per the hypothesis, presenting the insights in a crisp actionable manner, and then keep reiterating the whole process till you reach the conclusion
• Your role would require building data science models using the latest methodologies
• You’ll also be responsible for fixing data issues in coordination with data engineering team and conducting root cause analysis.
• You’ll work with multiple stakeholders from Product, Marketing, Operations, and CX teams
