Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, equipment).
• Perform 3D modeling, visualization, and technical documentation from BIM models.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve issues with other disciplines.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure accurate integration of systems.
• Create and manage construction drawings and specifications from models.
• Establish and enforce BIM standards and best practices across projects.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Modeler - Mechanical to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating detailed Building Information Models with a focus on mechanical systems. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery and maintain the highest standards of BIM documentation and coordination.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, equipment, and related infrastructure
• Perform detailed 3D modeling and visualization of mechanical systems using industry-standard BIM software
• Conduct clash detection and resolution between mechanical systems and other building disciplines
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure accurate integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Create and manage technical documentation, construction drawings, and specifications from BIM models
• Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across projects
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to support project timelines and deliverables
• Analyze complex mechanical systems and provide technical recommendations for optimization
• Mentor junior BIM modelers and provide guidance on modeling techniques and standards
• Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with project requirements and industry standards
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide regular updates on model status and progress

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• 5+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling with a focus on mechanical systems
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP or equivalent BIM modeling software
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, including HVAC, piping, and equipment layout
• Demonstrated expertise in 3D modeling, visualization, and technical documentation
• Experience with clash detection and MEP coordination workflows
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and BIM protocols
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Autodesk Revit certification or equivalent professional credential
• Experience with Navisworks or other coordination software
• Knowledge of Dynamo scripting or BIM automation tools
• Experience with project management and coordination software
• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience with junior team members
• Familiarity with Indian building codes and construction standards
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects
