About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior FastAPI Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Build clean, secure, well-documented REST APIs for web and frontend applications.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, relationships, indexes, and queries.
• Work with Supabase for database, authentication, storage, and other backend services where required.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain backend applications on AWS.
• Develop scalable and maintainable backend architecture following industry best practices.
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, logging, and API security.
• Optimize APIs, database queries, and backend services for performance and reliability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Work closely with frontend developers, product teams, and other engineers to deliver features.
• Write clean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Debug production issues and contribute to improving system stability and observability.
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain engineering standards.
