Job summary

Avalon Software Services in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based services using FastAPI. You will work on secure REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires 8+ years of backend development, strong leadership, and collaboration with Product, DevOps, and QA teams, plus hands-on cloud experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices, Distributed Systems, and System Design.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and at least one NoSQL database.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Backend Engineer, or Solution Architect.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
