Lenskart is seeking a Backend Engineer - SRE in Bengaluru to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure backend applications. Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices experience required.

Responsibilities include building APIs, integrating databases, implementing security, and optimizing performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and Agile ceremonies.

Backend Engineer - SRE

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, database management, and cloud or deployment technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Architecture: Microservices, design patterns, distributed systems fundamentals.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar relational databases; SQL query optimization.
• Messaging: Kafka or RabbitMQ, where applicable.
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, integration testing.
• Build Tools: Maven or Gradle.
• Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
