Qualifications

Job Mission

Ensure the technical integrity, performance, and scalability of Samarth’s multi-module Education ERP platform. Drive architectural standards, cross-module integrations, and end-to-end technical delivery excellence aligned with institutional and business priorities. This is a hands‑on role (60–70% coding expected). You will lead a team of 3–6 engineers.

Technical Hands-on

PHP 8.2, Yii2, Aws Solution Architect Certification, Nginx, Apache, php‑fpm, Mysql, Postgress, ClickHouse, Temporal, Redis, Linux Centos, Git, Gitlab, Scrum, Agile, Figma, Bootstrap, Jquery, React, Tailwind, CI/CD, cloud native technologies and use of AI in coding.

Duties

Experience and Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering 4–6 years of experience in backend development, preferably in SaaS, ERP, or large-scale web applications. At least 1 year of experience owning modules or leading small teams (3–6 engineers). Strong hands‑on experience with PHP (Yii2 preferred), MySQL/PostgreSQL, and REST API development. Solid understanding of MVC architecture and backend system design fundamentals. Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis, query caching, or application-level caching). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Linux-based environments. Exposure to performance optimization and handling moderate scale systems. Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS or similar) is a plus. Experience working in multi‑tenant systems or ERP/education domain is an advantage. Comfortable working in a high‑velocity development and deployment environment.
