Job summary

Level AI is building an AI-native platform to transform customer engagement. We are looking for backend engineers with 2–5 years of experience to design, implement, and scale services used by millions of customers.

You will work on REST APIs, data processing, and ML/NLP integrations, deploying with Docker/Kubernetes on modern cloud stacks. Join a fast-paced, collaborative team in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years backend experience, at least one modern language (preferably Python).
• Django experience highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data management, and REST API design.
• Some ML/NLP experience preferable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and CS fundamentals.

Competencies : Python, Django, Relational database understanding (viz: PostgreSQL, SQL), ETL, Database design, Strong experience in designing REST APIs, Cache, Redis, Celery, CI/CD, GCP, Kubernetes and Docker.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech from tier 1/2 Engineering institutes with relevant work experience with a top technology company
• Minimum 2-5 years of backend experience. Experience in at least one higher-level language, preferably Python
• Experience in Django is highly desirable
• Good understanding of relational databases, data management, and REST API design
• Some machine learning experience in the context of NLP would be preferable
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Possess an extremely sound understanding of areas in the basic areas of Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases
