Job summary

HCLSoftware in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Backend Engineer (Go) with 8+ years to join the Bigfix Product team. You will design and implement scalable microservices, build robust REST and gRPC APIs, and drive performance and reliability.

You will work with Linux environments, messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ, and modern cloud stacks (AWS/GCP). Collaboration with product, DevOps, and QA teams is essential to deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications

• Strong Go backend development skills with concurrency and REST API design.
• Experience with gRPC and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Write clean, testable code and architect scalable microservices.
• Expertise in Linux, networking, and SQL/NOSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Optional: exposure to MDM/UEM platforms is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Go) with 8+ years of experience for our HCL Bigfix Product team who possess the following skills:

About our Product HCL Bigfix -

HCL BigFix is an endpoint management platform that automates the discovery, management, and remediation of all endpoints, including virtual, cloud, and on-premises endpoints. HCL BigFix automates the management, patching, and inventory of nearly 100 operating systems.

• Strong Go backend development skills, concurrency (goroutines, channels) and REST API development
• Experience with gRPC and message queues (e.g., Kafka,RabbitMQ).
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.Architect and implement scalable, resilient microservices.Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver quality features.
• Expertise in Linux, networking, and SQL/NOSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Optional: Prior exposure to MDM/UEM platforms, APNs, or Android Enterprise is a plus
