Job summary

Bupa is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize scalable services using Java and Spring Boot. You will build microservices, integrate REST APIs, and ensure performance and reliability across production systems.

Collaborate with frontend teams and cross-functional partners to deliver end-to-end solutions. Write unit, integration, and mock tests, and drive code quality through reviews and coverage metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience in REST API development and integration.
• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and mock testing.
• Understanding of code coverage, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gates.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure; GCP is preferred.
• Understanding of application deployment and production support.
