Job summary

Kairos Technologies is seeking a Senior Azure APIM Engineer with hands-on expertise in Azure API Management, API integration, security, deployment, and production support. The role requires strong mastery of APIM, REST/HTTP ecosystems, and cloud-native tooling.

The candidate will configure policies, manage CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance with Application Insights and Log Analytics, and drive API migrations (MuleSoft to Azure APIM) in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure API Management, API integration, security, deployment, and production support.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, API Keys, certificates, mTLS, Managed Identity, and Key Vault.
• Hands-on with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Experience in API migration, preferably MuleSoft to Azure APIM.

Responsibilities

• Configure APIM policies for authentication, authorization, routing, transformation, rate limiting, and error handling.
• Troubleshoot API, security, network, performance, and production issues.

Experience: 6+ years IT | 4+ years Azure APIM

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Azure APIM Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure API Management, API integration, security, deployment, and production support.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Strong expertise in Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure services.
• Configure APIM policies for authentication, authorization, routing, transformation, rate limiting, and error handling.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, API Keys, certificates, mTLS, Managed Identity, and Key Vault.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Troubleshoot API, security, network, performance, and production issues.
• Experience in API migration, preferably MuleSoft to Azure APIM.
• Support SIT/UAT/Production deployments and incident/change/release management.
• Java & Spring Boot experience is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and Git/code review practices.
