Job summary

Kyndryl in India is seeking an Experienced Azure Platform Engineer to manage and expand our Azure API Management based Internal API Platform and to build self-service tooling for developers across the bank. You will help design the Enterprise Context Gateway, enable secure agent integration, and drive IaC/CI/CD pipelines for compliant deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience enabling Agentic AI with MCP or similar protocols.
• Proven CI/CD and Infra-as-Code in Azure DevOps (ARM/Bicep).
• Strong in Java and secure API development.
• Knowledge of cloud compliance and security-by-design practices.
• Fluent in English and able to work in a global team.

Job Description Experienced Azure platform Engineer with Agentic Integration experience (team APIM)

At a glance

As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will join a high impact engineering team responsible for both maintaining and expanding our existing Azure based Internal API Platform and building out self service developer tooling used across the bank.

At the same time, you and the team will play a key role in building the bank’s new Enterprise Context Gateway—a central, governed, scalable infrastructure layer, based on Azure API Management, enabling our transition to an AINative organization. This platform will expose the Model Context Protocol (MCP) services of the bank and enable agents to connect to data & tools across the enterprise.

You will work closely with engineers, architects, and other platform teams to ensure our services are secure, resilient, scalable, and developer friendly.

Your Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve our Azure API Management based Internal API Platform.
• Design and develop the new Enterprise Context Gateway, enabling secure and governed agent integration.
• Implement and enhance IaC & CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated, compliant deployments.
• Ensure the platforms are secure, reliable, and available.
• Collaborate cross-team & cross-department to improve the banks Integration landscape.
• Participate in the 24/7 standby rotation, ensuring mission critical availability.

What You Bring

• Experience with enabling Agentic AI with protocols such as MCP is preferred.
• Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines and Infra-as-Code (ARM/Bicep) in Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of JAVA and security-by-design, secure API development, and cloud compliance.
• A proactive, learning mindset and willingness to take responsibility, including 24/7 standby duties.
• The ability to fluently work in an English speaking team.
