Job summary

OSI Digital is seeking a Senior Azure AI Engineer to deliver production-grade AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will design, build, and harden copilots and agentic workflows, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) search, speech pipelines, and document automation using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Speech, and Document Intelligence.

The role requires hands-on engineering, strong security focus, and measurable business impact with cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/AI engineering with 2+ years building on Azure AI services.
• Breadth across Azure AI categories—at least three of: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Speech, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Vision, Translator/Language, and Content Safety—with at least one production deployment.
• Hands-on with Prompt Flow, Semantic Kernel or LangChain; tool/function calling and agent orchestration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship copilots/agents using Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI (function/tool calling, grounding, guardrails).
• Implement RAG using Azure AI Search (indexers/skillsets, vector + hybrid retrieval, semantic ranker, query rewriting).
• Build speech pipelines with Azure AI Speech (batch/real-time STT, TTS, diarization, translations).
• Automate document extraction with Azure AI Document Intelligence (custom & prebuilt models; confidence thresholds, retries).
• Orchestrate workflows via Power Automate/Azure Functions; integrate with M365 and APIs.
• Establish LLMOps practices: prompt flow, eval sets, A/B tests, prompt/version control, cost/performance monitoring.
• Apply Responsible AI controls and security best practices (Managed Identity, Key Vault, private endpoints).
• Create runbooks, architecture docs, handover materials; knowledge-transfer sessions.

The role requires hands‑on engineering, measurable business impact, and strong attention to security, reliability, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship copilots/agents using Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI (function/tool calling, grounding, guardrails).
• Implement RAG using Azure AI Search (indexers/skillsets, vector + hybrid retrieval, semantic ranker, query rewriting).
• Build speech pipelines with Azure AI Speech (batch/real‑time STT, TTS, diarization, Arabic/English translation).
• Automate document extraction with Azure AI Document Intelligence (custom & prebuilt models; confidence thresholds, retries).
• Orchestrate workflows via Power Automate/Azure Functions; integrate with M365 (Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive/Outlook) and APIs.
• Establish LLMOps practices: prompt flow, eval sets, A/B tests, prompt/version control, and cost/performance monitoring.
• Apply Responsible AI controls (Content Safety, PII detection/redaction) and security best practices (Managed Identity, Key Vault, private endpoints).
• Create runbooks, architecture docs, and handover materials; conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in software/AI engineering with 2+ years building on Azure AI services.
• Breadth across Azure AI categories—at least three of: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Speech, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Vision, Translator/Language, and Content Safety—with at least one production deployment.
• Hands‑on with Prompt Flow, Semantic Kernel or LangChain; tool/function calling and agent orchestration patterns.
• Strong RAG engineering: chunking strategies, embeddings, re‑ranking, caching; offline evaluation and relevance metrics.
• Programming proficiency in Python and/or C# (Node.js a plus); REST APIs, webhooks, async patterns.
• Vector stores: experience with Azure Cosmos DB (vector), PostgreSQL + pgvector, or Redis (RediSearch/JSON).
• CI/CD for AI workloads (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), infrastructure‑as‑code familiarity, and telemetry (App Insights/OpenTelemetry).
• Security & governance on Azure: Entra ID, Key Vault, private networking; data residency and tenant isolation awareness
