Job summary

UST in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable cloud platforms. You will automate infrastructure using AWS and CloudFormation, and drive reliable deployments with Jenkins and container services.

You will act as a primary incident responder, perform post-mortems, and collaborate across Agile teams to improve stability, scalability, and performance of production systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments and IaC.
• Proficient in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Manage, scale, and secure AWS infrastructure with CloudFormation and IaC.
• Deploy and support containerized or compute workloads (ECR/ECS/EC2).
• Support automated infrastructure lifecycle activities and provisioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable reliable and efficient application deployments.
• Manage, scale, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Deploy, manage, and support containerized or compute workloads using ECR OR ECS OR EC2 based on application and infrastructure requirements.
• Support automated infrastructure lifecycle activities, including environment maintenance and infrastructure provisioning.
• Serve as a primary responder during production incidents and participate in on-call rotations to ensure service availability and SLA adherence.
• Conduct incident analysis, root cause investigations, and post-mortem reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using scripting to eliminate repetitive operational tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Improve system reliability, availability, performance, and stability across non-production and production environments.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and ing solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
