The candidate will deploy, manage, and troubleshoot microservices on EKS, build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and optimize cloud infrastructure for reliability.

The role emphasizes strong Linux skills, Helm usage, and end-to-end multi-tier architecture experience across production environments. Banking/financial services exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS services such as EKS, Redis, Aurora RDS, ActiveMQ.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end, multi-tier architecture.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot microservices on Amazon EKS.
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues including pods, deployments, and networking.
• Configure and manage Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) and scaling mechanisms.
• Monitor health of applications and infra, identifying performance/reliability issues.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve production incidents.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve deployment processes.
• Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer

with 7+ years of experience in AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices deployment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience with Amazon EKS, Jenkins, Helm, Linux, and AWS infrastructure services, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues in a multi‑tier application environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot microservices running on Amazon EKS.
• Work with AWS services such as EKS, Redis, Aurora RDS, ActiveMQ, and other cloud infrastructure components.
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployment.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes‑related issues including pod failures, deployments, services, networking, resource constraints, and application availability.
• Configure and manage Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) and understand Kubernetes pod scaling mechanisms.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health and proactively identify performance and reliability issues.
• Troubleshoot Linux, application, infrastructure, and deployment‑related issues across production environments.
• Understand and support end‑to‑end multi‑tier application architecture, including application, database, messaging, networking, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve production incidents and improve system reliability.
• Automate repetitive operational activities and continuously improve deployment and operational processes.
• Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and implementation of permanent fixes.

Must Have

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related role.
• Hands‑on experience using and preferably provisioning AWS services such as:
• Amazon EKS
• Redis
• ActiveMQ
• Strong hands‑on experience with microservices deployment.
• Experience developing and managing Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD.
• Hands‑on experience with Helm for Kubernetes application deployment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of AWS infrastructure and cloud‑native application environments.

Should Have

• Hands‑on experience deploying microservices in Amazon EKS clusters.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Kubernetes and EKS‑related production issues.
• Practical knowledge of HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaler) and Kubernetes pod scaling.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end multi‑tier application architecture.
• Good understanding of networking, application dependencies, databases, messaging systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on Banking / Financial Services applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Karpenter for Kubernetes node provisioning and scaling.
• Experience working with Amazon RDS/Aurora.
• Experience with Nginx.
• Experience with production‑grade, highly available and scalable applications.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
