Job summary

Reve Cloud Inc. is seeking a hands-on Cloud & DevOps engineer to design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure. You will implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, administer Kubernetes platforms including EKS and ROSA, and drive GitOps practices with Argo CD.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, tune CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, compliant deployments with Istio, API gateways, and robust monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration across EKS and OpenShift ROSA.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage highly available, secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms (EKS, ROSA) and OpenShift.
• Implement GitOps with Argo CD and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native issues.
• Monitor with Prometheus/Grafana and centralized logging (ELK, CloudWatch).

Job description

• Design, implement, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Route 53, S3, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and AWS networking.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes.
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon EKS.
• Hands‑on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
• Strong experience with Istio Service Mesh.
• Experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with Argo CD and GitOps deployment methodologies.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash/Python).
• Experience troubleshooting REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of API Gateway, Ingress Controllers, Istio traffic routing, SSL/TLS certificates, OAuth/JWT authentication, DNS, Load Balancers, and networking.
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Ability to perform log analysis and packet-level troubleshooting using tools such as kubectl, oc, curl, tcpdump, and application logs.
• Deploy, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes platforms, including Amazon EKS and Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Configure and manage Istio Service Mesh for traffic management, security, observability, and microservices communication.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and API issues across cloud-native environments.
• Analyze API failures, latency, HTTP response codes (4xx/5xx), SSL/TLS issues, authentication and authorization failures, ingress routing, load balancer configurations, and backend connectivity.
• Troubleshoot API Gateway, Ingress Controllers, Istio Virtual Services, Destination Rules, and Service Mesh traffic flows.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and drive issue resolution.
• Implement GitOps practices using Argo CD or similar deployment tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Terraform, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging platforms.
• Implement AWS security best practices, IAM, networking, encryption, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform reliability and deployment efficiency.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership for complex production issues.
