KBD Talent Forge India Pvt Ltd seeks a Senior Automotive Audio Software Architect to lead architecture, design, development, integration, and optimization of advanced audio software for next-generation automotive infotainment and cockpit systems. You will own the complete audio software stack from application to HAL, DSP, and kernel, driving scalable solutions across platforms.

Qualifications

• Expert in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and automotive audio software architectures.
• Experience designing scalable audio architectures across application/framework layers to HAL and DSP.
• Proficient in Android Audio Framework components (AudioFlinger, AudioPolicyService/Manager, AAudio).
• Ability to collaborate with vehicle platform teams to integrate CAN and vehicle signals.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall software architecture for automotive audio systems based on Android Automotive and embedded Linux.
• Own the technical architecture of the complete automotive audio stack from application/framework layers to HAL, DSP, kernel, and hardware.
• Design scalable solutions for complex automotive audio use cases including media playback, navigation, voice assistant, telephony, alerts, notifications, and vehicle sounds.
• Lead technical development and customization of Android Audio Framework, AudioFlinger, AudioPolicyService, and AudioPolicyManager.
• Define and review Audio HAL architecture using AIDL/HIDL and ensure proper integration with vendor-specific audio components.
• Collaborate with vehicle platform teams to integrate CAN, vehicle signals, power states, and audio-related vehicle configurations.
• Drive architecture decisions related to audio latency, performance, reliability, memory, CPU utilization, and power consumption.
