Agivant Technologies is hiring an Automation Developer to streamline testing and infrastructure automation for Huawei Cloud and multi-cloud environments. You’ll build robust automation frameworks, deploy IaC with Terraform, and drive automated testing with Robot Framework across cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes scripting (Python/Bash), Docker/Kubernetes, and knowledge sharing to uplift engineering practices in a fast-paced cloud-native setup.

Competenze

• Deep operational experience in Huawei Cloud is required.
• Proficiency in Terraform and advanced scripting with Python or Bash.
• Solid testing knowledge with Robot Framework; PyTest/Selenium a plus.
• Experience with AWS and/or OCI in a multi-cloud setup is essential.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Developer to streamline, test, and manage our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The core focus of this role is building robust automation and testing frameworks within Huawei Cloud, while bridging our operations to other public cloud infrastructure (AWS/OCI). If you are passionate about Infrastructure as Code, relentless about automated testing, and thrive in optimizing complex cloud environments, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform to provision resources across Huawei Cloud and other public clouds (AWS/OCI).
• Huawei Cloud Management: Act as the subject matter expert for our Huawei Cloud deployments, ensuring high availability, optimal resource allocation, and automated service management.
• Automated Testing: Develop, maintain, and scale comprehensive automated testing suites utilizing the Robot Framework to validate infrastructure deployments, network configurations, and system integrations.
• Custom Scripting: Write clean, efficient scripts (Python, Bash, or similar) to automate routine system administration, monitoring, and deployment tasks.
• Multi-Cloud Integration: Maintain hybrid cloud interoperability, extending Huawei Cloud capabilities and ensuring seamless integration with AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Team Enablement: Drive continuous improvement within the engineering team by actively hosting and participating in regular Friday knowledge-sharing sessions to showcase new automation techniques, cloud native services, and testing strategies.

Technical Skills Matrix

• Cloud Infrastructure: Core requirement is deep operational experience in Huawei Cloud. Experience with OpenStack deployment and management is an added advantage.
• Automation & IaC: Core requirements include proficiency in Terraform and advanced scripting using Python or Bash.
• Testing: Solid understanding of Robot Framework and general testing frameworks is required. Familiarity with PyTest and Selenium is an added advantage.
• Multi-Cloud: Solid working knowledge of AWS and/or OCI is a core requirement.
• DevOps: Core requirements include hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
