Job summary

HITACHI VANTARA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED in India is seeking a Senior Auditor (Non-FS) to lead a team of graduates and ensure delivery meets quality standards and SLAs. You will mentor, own fieldwork, and draft management communications while ensuring data confidentiality and risk controls.

The ideal candidate holds a CA qualification with 1–2 years post-qualification Big 4 client-facing experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with GAAP/IFRS.

Qualifications

• Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA).
• 1–2 years post-qualification experience with a Big 4 in a client facing workplace.
• Experience in external/internal audit & knowledge of UI/US GAAP, IFRS would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Proficient book-keeping knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh and experienced graduates.
• Monitoring work, managing and motivating the team to ensure deliverables meet necessary quality standards and agreed SLA’s.
• Sharing knowledge, mentoring and coaching the team members.
• Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.
• Taking the fieldwork ownership (audit evidence and documentation detail, drafting management letter points/communications) engagement economics activities like supporting budget/time variance explanations.
• Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
• Performance review of the team.
• Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.
• Auditing complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements.
• Apply innovative audit technology in the execution of the procedures.

Educational qualifications

Preferred technical & functional skills
