Job summary

Equinix in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Development Eng Sr. Associate to work on moderate software development problems as an individual contributor.

You will write maintainable code and participate in reviews and design discussions. Responsibilities include owning features, delivering quality, helping with test cases and test data, and collaborating with teammates to improve processes and estimates for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to develop high-quality software and participate in code reviews.
• Experience with testing and QA practices is a plus.

• Consistently produces maintainable, high quality professional software code independently.
• Effective in code reviews and system design features; may need guidance on system level design.
• Independently owns and delivers on quality goals for features (SDET/QA).

• Contributes to the designing of test cases and test data based on requirements.
• Contributes to the testing framework development, where applicable.
• Works independently from product requirements.
• Spots opportunities to improve the team's operational excellence and implements them.
• Demonstrates the ability to estimate and deliver tasks in a timely fashion providing progress updates.
• Owns one or more features and mentors junior engineers.
