Job summary

Ideal candidate has 4+ years in a reputed PR agency, strong sector media relations, and familiarity with AI/LLM tools. Travel to client sites across India or abroad may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a reputed PR agency in India.
• Strong media relations in at least two sectors.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM tools (ChatGPT, Bard, Writesonic) with possible training provided by the company.
• Strong communication, research and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity with strategic planning, exceptional writing and editing abilities.
• Energetic, driven to meet deadlines and solve problems.
• Willing to travel for deputation/transfer/assignment across India or abroad.

Responsibilities

• Implement integrated marketing communications programs including PR, social media, and visual communications.
• Provide research, media intelligence, or other information to support strategy development.
• Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and strategy.
• Lead or assist in client servicing and day-to-day communications management.
• Train and mentor junior team members and align them with strategic direction.
• Develop business presentations for current and prospective clients.

Job description

The Senior Associate will be responsible for media relations, research, and content development, ensuring the strategies are executed effectively for the company’s clients, maintaining required documentation, and providing assistance to train junior team members.

Preferable Sector Knowledge: Technology / Healthcare / F&B / Automotive / Alcobev

KRAs

• Responsible for implementing integrated marketing communications programs, which extend to public relations, social media, and visual communications
• Assist in the development of required strategies by providing the necessary research, media intelligence, or other information
• Ensure the required deliverables are met effectively, as per the client's requirements and the strategy
• Lead/assist in client servicing, managing day-to-day communications with clients
• Assist the manager train / mentoring the team, and ensure the team is aligned toward the strategic direction of the company and its clients
• Assist in developing business presentations for the organization's current and prospective clientele
• Responsible for maintaining the quality of work and all processes are duly followed
• Maintain a strong relationship with key media publications, and influencers, and monitor ongoing trends, topics, news, and other relevant information
• Analyze PR or digital campaign results, responses, and gaps
• Develop reports as required for the company or its clients
• Support implementation of company initiatives and work closely with management to optimize the effectiveness of the resources and investments.

The Ideal Candidate Should

• Have proven work experience of at least 4 years in a reputed public relations agency in India
• Strong media relations in at least 2 sectors
• Basic knowledge of AI / LLM tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, Writesonic and so on (further training will be provided by the Company).
• Possess strong communication, research & interpersonal skills
• Be highly creative and possess strategic planning skills, exceptional writing, and editing skills
• Possess the energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and find solutions
• Must be highly organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and client teams at all levels
• Flexibility, Determination, and ability to cope under pressure
• Be willing to travel on deputation/transfer/assignment to any of the company’s branch/liaison offices in India or abroad.
