Job summary

TIAA is seeking a Project and Program Management professional in Mumbai to lead agile ceremonies and manage end-to-end delivery as Scrum Master. The role emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional teams, defining scope, timelines and budgets, and mentoring teams in Agile practices.

Expected to drive data-informed decisions, track performance metrics, and provide transparent stakeholder updates through executive dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

  • University (Degree) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience; 7+ years preferred.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and Scrum events including sprint/PI planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery by defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans while simultaneously serving as Scrum Master to remove impediments and keep teams focused on sprint goals and business priorities.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum principles, promoting self-organization and high performance while ensuring adherence to established frameworks and delivery standards.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics including sprint velocity, burn-down and burn-up charts, cycle time, defect rates, and on-time delivery percentages to identify trends, forecast delivery timelines, and drive data-informed decisions across the project lifecycle.
  • Provide transparent project reporting and stakeholder communication by translating delivery progress, performance data, and risk indicators into executive-level dashboards and updates, ensuring alignment between team execution and organizational goals.

  • Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.

The Program and Project Management role is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. As a subject matter expert in Project/Program Management, this job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large projects for the organization.
