Job Description

The Fabrication Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and fabricating metal components and structures according to technical drawings and specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and machinery to produce high-quality fabricated products.

Fitter

• Knowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental aspect and Risk related to inspection activities on Machines and during Assembly
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fitting requirements.
• Assemble and fit metal parts by aligning, grinding, and adjusting components to ensure proper fit.
• Mark, measure, and cut materials accurately before assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, gas cutting and machinery such as grinders, drills, and fitting equipment.
• Assist in welding preparation and ensure parts are correctly positioned prior to welding.
• ITI fitter / Diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
• Proven experience as a Heavy Fabrication Fitter.
• 5 to 8years of experience in Heavy fabrication or Pressure Vessel Fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
