Job summary

Morphogenesis, established design studio in Mumbai, seeks an architect to join a collaborative team focused on Master Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape Design. The role emphasizes sustainability and learning within a mini studio format to drive innovative design across projects.

The candidate should excel in design concept development, multi-disciplinary coordination, and stay abreast of global design standards while ensuring adherence to Morphogenesis’ design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institute.
• Strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and other advanced software.
• Well versed in architectural standards/processes and sustainability standards such as GRIHA/LEED/ECBC/WELL.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers and consultants and ensure project goals in design, execution, and sustainability are met.
• Have a clear understanding of the Firm’s Design Philosophy and guide the team to ensure adherence to the same.
• Refer to different sources (internal/external) for reference materials to enhance knowledge, stay abreast with global standards of design and technological advancements and guide the team effectively.
• Have a clear understanding of how Façade engages with Interiors, and Landscape and guide the team on the same
• Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking
• Review production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure that quality control activities for all architectural elements are met.
• Create and maintain the project manual and specifications.
• Regularly contribute to Design Reviews by way of gathering and presenting information
• Conduct on-site observations and guide team to document site reviews and address RFI.
• Assist Team Lead in creating Client Presentations.
