Job summary

Morphogenesis is seeking a Landscape Architect to develop innovative, sustainable environments for diverse urban and rural projects in India. You will collaborate with professionals across disciplines to deliver design solutions that respect site context and ecological considerations.

Responsibilities include leading site studies, preparing plans and cost estimates, and producing CAD drawings with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture with specialization in landscape architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong presentation and client-relations skills.
• Excellent graphic and visualization abilities.
• Strong collaboration, organization, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Establish landscape requirements with clients.
• Survey sites including contours, soil, ecology, and heritage.
• Prepare site plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Create detailed CAD drawings and design packages.
• Select landscaping materials and assess environmental reports.
• Visit sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans.
• Coordinate with other professionals on the project.

Your Role :

Your role as a landscape architect will be toprovide innovative and aesthetically pleasing environment. Ensuring thatchanges to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable.Collaborating closely with other professionals, you will work on a range ofprojects in both urban and rural settings.

• Establish general landscape requirements withclients
• Conduct preliminary studies of the site(including contours, soil, ecology, buildings, roads, heritage).
• Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Accurately prepare and present detailed plansand working drawings of the re-design of the new site, includingapplications, construction details and specifications for the projectusing computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software.
• Select appropriate landscaping materials
• Analyse environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainageand energy usage.
• Inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres toplans.
• Carry out site visits.
• Ensure deadlines are met
• Liaise with other professionals on the project.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Architectureor Master’s in architecturewith specialisation in landscape architecture.
• A good working knowledge of Revit and Autocad is essential
• Demonstrable presentation and client relations skills
• Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate designideas
• Excellent collaboration skills, good self-organisation, and strongability to work in a team environment
