Job summary

Morphogenesis in Mumbai invites a design-focused architect to join a collaborative studio. You will contribute across phases from concept to detailing, aligning with the firm’s design philosophy and sustainability standards.

The role requires strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop, with 0–8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture. You will work within a cross-disciplinary team and engage in academic and research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institute.
• Strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and other advanced software.
• Well versed in architectural standards/processes and sustainability standards such as GRIHA/LEED/ECBC/WELL.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to multi-task and stay ahead of deadlines.
• Commitment to working with teams in an engaging and positive way.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers and consultants to meet design, execution, and sustainability goals.
• Guide the team to adhere to Morphogenesis’ design philosophy.
• Refer to internal/external sources for reference materials and stay updated with global standards.
• Understand how Façade engages with Interiors and Landscape and guide the team accordingly.
• Resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure quality control of all architectural elements and maintain project manuals/specifications.
• Contribute to Design Reviews by gathering and presenting information.
• Conduct on-site observations, document site reviews, and address RFIs.
• Assist Team Lead in creating client presentations.

Job Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with project managers and consultants and ensure project goals in design, execution, and sustainability are met.
  
• Have a clear understanding of the Firm’s Design Philosophy and guide the team to ensure adherence to the same.

• Regularly contribute to Design Reviews by way of gathering and presenting information
  
• Conduct on-site observations and guide team to document site reviews and address RFI.
  
• Assist Team Lead in creating Client Presentations.
  

Requirements

Experience : 0-8 Yrs

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institute.
  
• Candidates must have strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency and experience in using AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photoshop, and other advanced software.
