Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced investment professional to join our Private Equity team with a sector focus on Financial Services (Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, Asset Management) and Fintech(Payments, Lending, Wealth Tech, Insurtech, Reg Tech, Banking Tech). The candidate will play a critical role across the deal lifecycle – from origination and evaluation to execution, portfolio management, and exit.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong network with entrepreneurs, investment bankers, advisors, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and track high-potential investment opportunities in financial services and fintech.
• Stay abreast of sector trends, regulatory developments, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Investment Evaluation

• Lead market research, competitive analysis, and financial modelling to assess opportunities.
• Conduct valuation analysis (Transaction & trading comps, precedent transactions) and scenario planning.
• Prepare detailed investment memos and recommendations for the Investment Committee.

Program Management

• Negotiate term sheets, transaction structures, and legal documentation.
• Liaise with internal legal, compliance, and finance teams to close transactions smoothly.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, and auditors during deal execution.

Qualifications & Skills

Required
