Zoetis is seeking a Senior Associate - Freight Audit to oversee freight invoice validation, dispute management, and carrier payment processes. This role requires close collaboration with global transportation, finance, and logistics teams to ensure accurate invoicing and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a background in audit or accounts payable within SAP or related financial tools, plus experience in logistics or FMCG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business/IT or related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in audit or accounts payable, SAP or other financial tools.
• Experience in logistics, FMCG and Supply Chain is advantageous.
• Previous Freight Audit experience is a plus; strong numerical ability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review system disputes and prepare strategic solutions with logistics providers; lead meetings.
• Conduct recurring meetings with logistics providers, supply chain teams, and Zoetis Transportation to resolve disputes.
• Transform and maintain data to meet business requirements and address data submission issues to ZTD.
• Drive continuous process improvement with the SAP solution and ZTD team.
• Monitor logistics trends, rates, fuel surcharges and maintain up-to-date knowledge.
• Train and transfer knowledge to team members and stakeholders as required.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Associate -Freight Audit to oversee freight invoice validation, dispute management, and carrier payment processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with global transportation, finance, and logistics partners to ensure accurate invoicing, drive process efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review of the system disputes from different categories and prepare a strategic solution and align with the logistics service providers over the meetings - 40
• Recurring meeting (Daily/Weekly) with the logistics service providers as well as with the supply chain and Zoetis Transportation team to resolve the disputes - 20
• Maintain and Transform data to meet business requirements and address data submission failures to the ZTD and work towards a solution - 20
• Continuous improvement of the process by collaborating with the ZTD team to enhance the SAP solution - 10
• Follow global logistics trends with the up-to-date information on the logistics rate (per Kg, FTL/LTL, Containers), fuel price, surcharges - 5
• Train and transfer knowledge to the other team members, users and stakeholders as required - 5

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

When performing this activity, the employee must regularly sit, use his hands and fingers, handle or feel, grasp with his hands and arms, speak and listen. The applicant must be physically able to lift (up to 22 kg), bend over, climb and grab.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

• Interacting with the Global transportation, Finance and ZFS (Zoetis Financial Services US & EU) for a timely resolution
• Closely working together with different freight forwarders and maintain a good working relationship
• Interacting with the internal ZTD teams to improve and resolve freight audit systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors' degree in Finance/Business/IT or related field
• 8+ year of experience within audit or accounts payable within SAP or any other financial tools
• Experience in logistics, FMCG and Supply Chain is an advantage
• Previous experience working in a Freight Audit role is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving Skills
• Good experience in Excel and with numbers
• Experience working with cross functional teams and the ability to work in a matrix organization, driving collaboration across the globe / functions / regions

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Collaborate with freight forwarders across APACA, EME, US, and CLAR through recurring meetings.
• Build strong internal and external partnerships to improve E2E performance.
• Ensure timely and accurate carrier setup and manage payment and dispute resolution end to end.
• Maintain Zoetis-approved carrier rate tables (signed off by the business).
• Audit freight invoices against approved rates and required coding (business entity, cost center, GL account); align with carriers and Zoetis stakeholders to resolve variances.
• For discrepancies, request credit notes or invoice resubmissions; provide reporting and root-cause insights to prevent recurrence.
• Follow defined freight-audit rules and controls, leveraging SAP TM, BN4L, and BTP to validate invoices, resolve disputes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain and grow expert knowledge of freight-audit requirements and the internal/external business environment; complete required training.
• Prepare KPIs on invoice status (open/closed/overdue) and spend.
• Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving to make sound decisions and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.
• Establish strong process governance to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to automate process steps through technology and data.
