Collins Aerospace Bengaluru is seeking a Procurement Professional to manage sourcing activities, support RFPs and supplier negotiations, perform cost analysis, and ensure seamless order management while delivering an excellent customer experience.

The role requires a BE or Master’s degree with 4–6 years in supply chain/procurement, preferably manufacturing, and familiarity with SAP procurement functions and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a BE/ Master’s Degree and minimum 4 - 6 years prior relevant experience in Supply chain /Procurement preferably manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify qualified suppliers for requirements, leveraging existing agreements to the fullest extent.
• Manage purchase order placement process from requisition to invoice payment for a assigned commodities within the Indirect team.
• Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery in support of commodity supplier and cost strategies.
• Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations; ensure product on-time delivery to schedule.
• Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time and terms & conditions; complete PO documentation per policy.

Overview

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience using SAP (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects most preferred) Experienced in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with lean principles and productivity improvements Knowledge of Indirect commodities in a manufacturing environment
