Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a senior PLM Transformation leader in Bengaluru to harmonize PLM systems and establish a digital thread across ERP, MES, and CAD. You will drive large-scale PLM modernization, leveraging Teamcenter and AI-enabled tools within an agile framework.

You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, manage data migrations, and upgrade PLM capabilities, while contributing to enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading PLM transformation/implementation using Teamcenter
• Strong PLM integration knowledge with S4, MCAD, ECAD, MES
• Experience with PLM upgrades, data migrations, and greenfield environments
• De-customization experience and RAC to AWC transition
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and Agile collaboration
• Familiar with AI-enabled tools to accelerate development/testing

Responsibilities

• Lead PLM Transformation initiatives to harmonize PLM systems

Job Overview

The role will work closely with cross-functional business and technology teams to modernize PLM capabilities, streamline engineering processes, support system integrations and migrations, and leverage emerging technologies—including AI—to accelerate digital transformation.

The ideal candidate will bring strong PLM transformation expertise, preferably with Teamcenter, along with experience in aerospace, enterprise integrations, and large-scale PLM modernization.

What You Will Do

Lead and support the PLM Transformation initiatives at Collins Aerospace to harmonize the PLM systems to a unified, standardized framework and enable the establishment of a digital thread connecting PLM with ERP, MES, CAD and multiple other downstream enterprise applications while retaining PLM as the single source of truth.

What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have

• 12+ years in leading PLM Transformation/ Implementation/ End to end development & sustainment preferably using Teamcenter suite of products (Version 2506 or higher)
• Strong knowledge on PLM system integration with S4, MCAD (NX, Creo, CATIA, Solid Works, Solid Edge), ECAD (Cadence, Mentor Graphics), MES systems
• Strong skills on - PLM Upgrades, Site consolidation, Data Migrations, setting up of Greenfield environment
• Good expertise in de-customization and moving from RAC to AWC application
• Support legacy PLM systems
• Setting up of CI/CD pipelines and streamline the build and deployment process
• Work in Agile methodology and support collaboration across multiple ART teams
• Familiar in using next generation tools leveraging AI solutions to accelerate the development/ testing/ deployment process

Qualifications We Prefer

Prior experience working on PLM solutions in Aerospace domain Knowledge on configuring Manufacturing processes planning, Quality Control and add on modules to support connectivity of PLM systems with other internal/ external stakeholders like Supply chain team, Quality & Final Inspection, Suppliers, Customers etc.
