Job summary

Tesco Bengaluru is seeking specialists in hyperautomation to build scalable automation solutions. You will design, develop, and review bot-based processes, ensuring bug-free deployments and adherence to Tesco standards.

You will work with Operations to craft SIT/UA testing, manage incidents, and deliver robust automated solutions across the organization. The role emphasizes collaboration with Bot users, Operations, and IT teams, while staying current with automation trends and Tesco guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience with automation design and solution delivery in a business setting.
• Ability to map business processes and design functional specifications.
• Experience with CI concepts and scalable bot development.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data handling for automation.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and Tesco processes, applying automation best practices.
• Build and extend Tesco processes using CI tools and techniques.
• Complete tasks within KPI targets and ensure timely automation delivery.
• Analyze alternatives to solve problems and deliver scalable BOT solutions.
• Create detailed solution designs and reviews with Bot users and operations teams.
• Conduct timely code reviews to ensure bug-free automation and adherence to design.
• Create SIT & UAT test scenarios and provide test data with operations support.
• Monitor solution runs, manage incidents per SLAs, and maintain infrastructure for solutions.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and support ongoing change requests from users.

About the role

I am a part of the Digital Centre of Excellence at Tesco Business Services and my role is to ensure that I develop bug free automation solutions on time, manage and sustain the automation solutions in line with Tesco defined standards and guidelines.

You will be responsible for

• Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes
• Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques
• Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's
• Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives
• Understand business automation requirements and devise an automation approach to ensure consistent usage and user experience
• Created Detailed Solution Design and Review with BOT users and Operation Teams
• Be Proactive and Build a BOT which is scalable and caters to future needs
• Conduct Timely Code Review with Developers to ensure bug free automation solutions and adherence to agreed Solution Design
• Create Scenarios for SIT & UAT Testing, work with Operations team to create sufficient test data for testing
• Monitor Solution runs and Incident Management as per agreed SLAs
• Perform Code Reviews for all solutions delivered by developers before deploying to production
• Provide frequent and relevant updates to all relevant people and teams at all times
• Support & maintain Infrastructure for Digital solutions, like version upgrades, setup, server patching, licensing etc.
• Understand and deliver Change Requests received from users for all live automation solutions
• Adhere to norms, guidelines and practices laid out for Digital Solutions at all times
• Prepare and provide documentation for all automations solution delivered
• Staying abreast of technology trends to drive industry best practices and advise on trends for adoption that benefit COE and Business

You will need

• Experience level - 4 to 6 years preferred
• Domain skills:- Process Mapping and Designing preferred
• Designing Functional and Solution Design Documents preferred
• Technical skills:Expertise and experience with one of the below tools
• Primary Skills: - Hyperautomation RPA (Automation Anywhere), HITL, Python, SQL,
