Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Summary

The Senior Associate, Corporate Affairs will support the day-to-day execution of Amgen India's communication initiatives through content coordination, internal communications, event support and communication operations. Working closely with the Director, Corporate Affairs and partnering across functions, this role will help coordinate communication activities, manage vendors and agency deliverables, maintain communication calendars and assets, and ensure timely execution of campaigns that enhance employee engagement and strengthen Amgen India's employer brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of communication activities across internal and external stakeholders.
• Track deliverables, timelines and approvals to ensure timely completion of communication projects along with compiling monthly dashboards, communication reports and analytics.
• Provide operational and coordination support to the Director, Corporate Affairs, including managing meeting logistics, minutes of meeting, tracking action items, coordinating follow-ups, and supporting day-to-day planning to ensure smooth execution of Corporate Affairs priorities.
• Day to day coordination with creative agencies, designers, printers, photographers, videographers and event partners. Coordinate with internal teams like Facilities, Admin, Security, EHS, Site Operations for all large- and small-scale events.
• Develop SOPs and standard templates to streamline review process and work with other Functions. Maintain communication asset repositories, brand collaterals, communication calendars, trackers and project plans. Manage regular review and update of intranet and TV signage content.
• Support budget tracking and end to end vendor management - coordinate with agencies and partners for vendor onboarding, registration, PO and payment formalities.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree in journalism, public relations, mass communications, international relations, or a related field and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree in mass media, communications, journalism and 5 to 9 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills/ Qualifications

• Experience supporting internal communications, events and social media content creation.
• Strong written and verbal skills, with creative writing experience. Project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and stakeholder follow-ups.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple review cycles while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel; experience with graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar) would be an added advantage. Familiarity with Generative AI tools and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and automation to improve content development and communication processes.
• Self-motivated, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
