Cloud Administrator Job Description:
As Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and managing our cloud
infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be an individual contributor and will:
- Implement and maintain cloud security protocols and best practices.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues as they arise.
- Support development and operations teams in deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications and services.
- Assist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP. At least proficient in one platform.
- Utilize automation tools and scripting to streamline cloud operations.
- Carry out Cloud FinOps related activities
- Participate in regular cloud environment reviews and audits.
- Keep abreast of the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with senior cloud administrators and other team members.
Required Experience,
Skills & Competencies:
- Should have 6+ years of experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting the Linux and Windows operating system, Internet-based applications, and web servers including of which at least 4+ years of experience in cloud administration, specifically with AWS and Azure, GCP is optional.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, SQL, Google Compute Engine, Google Cloud Storage, etc.
- Basic knowledge of cloud automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Hands on experience in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands on experience in networking including VPC, VPN, VNET, DNS, and load balancer.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of database management and cloud-based data solutions.
- Exposure to cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Certified – Associate Cloud Engineer.
- Basic working knowledge of SaaS collaboration and productivity platforms such as GitLab (version control, CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Gemini for productivity, documentation, or engineering workflows — considered an add-on advantage.
- Basic exposure to design/collaboration tools such as Figma — considered an add-on advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
