Job summary

InMobi Advertising is seeking a Senior Associate – Business Finance to support revenue operations, planning cycles, and commercial decision-making for the unit in Bengaluru. This role targets early-career professionals aiming to build a strong foundation in commercial finance within a fast-paced ad-tech environment.

You will contribute to monthly accruals, forecasting, and model updates while collaborating across teams. A CA or MBA (Finance) background with 2–3 years of FP&A exposure is ideal.

Qualifications

• CA qualified or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
• 2–3 years in BFM, FP&A, or commercial finance; freshers with strong internships.
• Strong Excel skills; comfort with large datasets and financial modelling.
• Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Sharp analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication — ability to summarize findings crisply.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly accruals, maintain revenue files, and assist in building and updating the revenue and cost forecast with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the annual planning process by building data packs, maintaining models, and conducting research on market/competitive trends.
• Review cost and revenue contracts to identify key commercial terms, flag risks or inconsistencies, and suggest improvements that drive better financial outcomes for InMobi.
• Assist in evaluating deal structures by preparing deal-level P&L templates, running scenario analyses, and documenting adherence to pricing and margin guidelines.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data across systems - own periodic reconciliations between internal records, contracts, and actuals.
• Identify and document process inefficiencies in recurring finance workflows; propose potential improvements and help implement approved changes.
• Prepare data-driven briefs and supporting materials for agency discussions on incentive structures, including historical performance summaries and benchmarking.

About The Role
