Job summary

InMobi Advertising is seeking a Senior Associate – Business Finance to join the Business Finance team, supporting revenue operations, planning cycles, and commercial decision-making in a fast-paced ad-tech setting. This role blends finance with AI tools to drive smarter decisions and scalable processes.

The position requires CA or MBA (Finance), 2–3 years of FP&A experience, strong Excel and modelling skills, and familiarity with BI tools.

Qualifications

• CA qualified or MBA (Finance) from a reputed Tier 1 institute.
• 2–3 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or commercial finance.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; comfort with large datasets.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI); exposure to SAP/Oracle/Anaplan or SQL is a plus.
• Sharp analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication — able to summarize findings crisply.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner for the business, working with product, revenue, and operations teams.
• Support planning cycles — prepare monthly accruals, maintain revenue files, and build/update revenue and cost forecasts.
• Analyze financial trends, identify variances, and recommend actionable interventions.
• Review cost and revenue contracts to identify key commercial terms, flag risks, and suggest improvements.
• Own periodic reconciliations between records, contracts, and actuals.
• Use AI assistants to automate reporting, validate data, and build BI dashboards for real-time KPI visibility.
• Identify manual finance workflows and automate using no-code/low-code tools.
• Support annual planning with data packs, models, and market research; document workflows for scale.

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp and proactive Senior Associate – Business Finance to join the Business Finance team, supporting revenue operations, planning cycles, and commercial decision-making for the unit. This is a high-exposure role suited for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in commercial finance within a fast-paced ad-tech environment — while also leveraging AI tools and automation to work smarter and drive better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Finance & Partnering

• Act as a trusted finance partner for the business, working closely with product, revenue, and operations teams.
• Support planning cycles — prepare monthly accruals, maintain revenue files, and build/update revenue and cost forecasts.
