Job summary

M S K A & Associates, a leading Indian accounting firm, seeks a Senior Associate in Assurance to lead on-site engagements, review financial statements, and support project delivery. You will work across teams to ensure Ind AS compliance, robust documentation, and timely completion of assignments for diverse clients.

Strong English skills and accounting knowledge are essential. Ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in Assurance, CA qualification, and proven ability to manage client relationships

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in English—written and oral.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets.
• Article ship experience—primarily in assurance.
• Experience working on site and managing clients and teams.

• Testing procedures including substantive and controls testing.
• Support the team manager on engagement formalities.
• Coordinate with client and internal teams for data.
• Assist in project management and status updates.

Responsibilities

Experience - 1 to 3 years of experience into Assurance.

Qualification - CA.

Expectations and requirements:

• Should have strong proficiency in English – both written and oral.
• Should possess excellent knowledge of Assurance
• Should possess excellent knowledge of accounting standards, including and specifically Ind AS.
• Should have strong proficiency of using excel and spreadsheets.
• Have good understanding of concepts around accounting and assurance, including familiarity with

• Handle areas and work allocated including testing and relevant procedures
• Prepare work papers and ensure compliance with firms policies and procedures and also regulatory requirements.
• Manage and supervise junior team members including article staff.
• Act as a SPOC for the team with the client in terms of data flow, communication, coordination and discussions.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams including client personnel for information/ data
• Support the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues, and research solutions.
• Support the team manager in project management, preparing status updated, compiling
• Participate in meeting with various teams, and contribute for the areas and responsibilities handled.
• Understanding business & industry issues / trends.
• Ensuring timely delivery of working papers as per the defined timelines.
• Ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures
