Job summary

MSKA & Associates, established in 1978, is a leading Indian partnership and a member firm of BDO International. We provide assurance services across India and beyond, with a focus on Ind AS conversion, IFC, tax and capital market support.

The Assurance team seeks a CA with 3-5 years of experience, strong Indian GAAP/Ind AS knowledge, and proven leadership to supervise engagements, build client relationships, and mentor staff. Willingness to travel within India or abroad is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach engagement teams to deliver Ind AS engagements.
• Collaborate with Partners to build client relationships and pitch for new mandates.
• Research complex accounting issues and apply Indian GAAP vs Ind AS differences.
• Communicate effectively with clients and Assurance Committee members.
• Travel within India or internationally as required.

Experience - 3-5 years of experience

Qualification - CA

• Must have an excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.
• Working closely with the Partner to build client relationships.
• Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability and experience to communicate at all levels within an organization and Assurance Committee Meetings.
• Strong leadership skills to deal with senior management, drive various meetings.
• Ability to spread positive work culture, teaming and live BDO values
• Must have proven supervision and coaching skills, ability to delegate, technical skills, the ability to motivate engagement teams and manage multiple engagements.
• Have the ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions.
• Assist in identifying interesting companies for pitching / ideation and Preparing pitches for obtaining new mandates.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the profession, the business, the industry, and the regulatory environment.
