Job summary

Cvent in Gurugram, India is seeking an experienced accounting professional focused on transactional accounting and accounts payable. You will post payments, support month-end close, and perform balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires ERP experience (preferably EBS), strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transactional accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of ERP Package, preferably EBS
• Knowledge of US-GAAP is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task is a must

Responsibilities

• Reconcile all bank accounts within timelines
• Post all payments in console portal
• Perform accounts payable processes and related entries
• Assist in monthly closure of books (Cvent Inc.)
• Prepare schedules and entries for monthly close (pre-payments, accruals, depreciation, deferred income)
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts
• Support yearly financial audits
• Conduct various financial and accounting analyses

In This Role, You Will:

Individual contributor ensuring below deliverables are done within the timelines:

• Ensuring all bank accounts are reconciled
• Knowledge of transactional accounting
• Ensuring all payments are posted in console portal
• Good understanding of Accounts payable process & accounting entries
