BDO India Services Private Limited is seeking a Senior Associate in Accounting Advisory to support Indian GAAP and Ind AS/IFRS engagements. The role involves technical accounting research, preparation of model financial statements, and regulatory guidance for clients.

A CA qualification is required and familiarity with Ind AS standards is essential. You will work under a Manager, contributing to client deliverables and staying current with regulatory updates.

Formación

• CA with knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS and differences from Indian GAAP.
• Experience in accounting and regulatory advice on Indian GAAP/Ind AS/IFRS.
• Ability to apply relevant accounting standards and execute Ind AS engagements.

About Accounting Advisory:

Our Accounting Advisory Services team is well experienced in the implementation of Indian GAAP/ Ind AS/ IFRS including complex technical issues arising at the time of transition and post implementation. The team has developed many technical papers for recognised clients. The team provides support to clients for the preparation of technical notes for documentation or management discussion which serves best for internal or external discussion.

Our Accounting Advisory Services team includes experts on GAAP who understand the technical aspect, know the preferred approach for conversion and preparation of financial statements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Principal Responsibilities - Accounting and regulatory advice on Indian GAAP and Ind AS/IFRS
• Providing research on technical matters including audit, accounting and regulatory.
• Preparation of model financial statements, other model formats and reports used for different purposes.
• Must have a knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.
• Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
• Shoulddemonstrateknowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up-to-date with new pronouncements relating to Ind AS.
• Experience in writing technical articles / publications will be an added advantage.
• Ability to present technical accounting matters to clients and senior team members in a clear and concise manner.
