Job summary

MSKA & Associates is seeking a Senior Associate with 1–3 years of experience and CA qualification to work in Assurance, focusing on Indian GAAP to Ind AS differences. The role involves applying accounting standards, supervising teams, and collaborating with Partners to build client relationships.

The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, leadership, and willingness to travel across India or abroad as required. This position is based in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.
• Ability to apply relevant accounting standards and independently execute Ind AS engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven supervision and coaching skills.
• Willingness to travel within India or abroad.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Partner to build client relationships.
• Apply relevant accounting standards to engagements and lead Ind AS engagements.
• Communicate with Assurance Committee Meetings and stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach engagement teams; manage multiple engagements.
• Identify potential companies for pitching / ideation and preparing pitches for new mandates.
• Keep abreast of developments in the profession, industry, and regulatory environment.

• Must have an excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.
• Working closely with the Partner to build client relationships.
• Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability and experience to communicate at all levels within an organization and Assurance Committee Meetings.
• Strong leadership skills to deal with senior management, drive various meetings.
• Ability to spread positive work culture, teaming and live BDO values
• Must have proven supervision and coaching skills, ability to delegate, technical skills, the ability to motivate engagement teams and manage multiple engagements.
• Have the ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions.
• Assist in identifying interesting companies for pitching / ideation and Preparing pitches for obtaining new mandates.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the profession, the business, the industry, and the regulatory environment.
