Job summary

PwC India is seeking an experienced professional to manage payment transformation projects, leveraging deep expertise in technology architecture. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in payments and governance.
As a key leader, you'll help clients establish effective relationships and oversee complex projects from strategy to delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

In addition, you'll provide technical leadership across various teams and directly communicate solutions to diverse audiences within the industry, including senior executives.

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of experience in payments and technology architecture.

• Experience in handling complex transformation projects.
• Broad knowledge in payments applications and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
• Train and lead staff

• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
• Lead complex transformation projects from strategy and design to delivery phase
• Actively participate in cross-functional, cross‑discipline architecture teams to enhance/set architectural direction for key business initiatives
• Manage trade-offs to speed to market, quality and business/financial impacts
• Technical leadership across a broad scale of tools, technologies, testing methodologies and architectural models
• Effectively communicate designs/solutions in multiple forums and to various audiences including CXOs of banks and financial service
• Develop and lead proposals/RFPs in collaboration with network firms

Required Skills

• At least 5-7 years of experience in payments and technology architecture
• Governance and oversight projects/processes for managing alignment of change to strategic goals
• Problem solving skills and experience in handling complex transformation projects
• Broad based knowledge and experience in P2P/B2B/B2C/G2P payments applications, channels, Message specs such as ISO 20022, ISO 8583 etc., Middleware/integration, databases and servers/san storages
• Strong knowledge of cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, data and payments security (PCI DSS/PA DSS compliance)

Desired Skills

• Proactive leadership capabilities
• Should be able to drive and lead design and implementation projects
• Should have at least 1-2 years of International experience in handling/ managing payment transformation projects
• Industry best practices in architectural methodologies and standards (e.g., TOGAF, Zachmann, Rational Unified Process etc.)

5 - 10 years (primarily in IT consulting)
