Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design with experience leading complex projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to coordinate integration of design, structural, MEP, and other technical systems into cohesive project solutions.
• Proven project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with software development principles or digital tools that support design workflows (BIM, CAD, collaboration platforms).

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through execution and ensure drawings and specifications meet codes and client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Oversee progress, quality, and budgets across multiple projects; review designs produced by junior staff and provide guidance.

Role Description The Senior Architect role at urbane arks is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. This role involves leading architectural design from concept through execution, preparing drawings and specifications, and ensuring that designs comply with codes, regulations, and client requirements. The Senior Architect will coordinate with clients, engineers, consultants, and internal teams, oversee integration of technical systems, and monitor project progress, quality, and budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing designs produced by junior staff, resolving design and technical issues, conducting site visits, and providing guidance during construction. The role also requires contributing to project planning, supporting business development efforts, and helping refine firm-wide design standards and processes.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience leading complex projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to coordinate Integration of design, structural, MEP, and other technical systems into cohesive project solutions.
• Proven Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with Software Development principles or digital tools that support design workflows, such as BIM, CAD, and collaboration platforms.
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
• Relevant professional registration or licensure, or eligibility and active pursuit of licensure.
• Experience with local building codes, standards, and approval processes, preferably in Lucknow or similar urban contexts.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive work style.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Background in sustainable design, universal design, or community-focused projects is an advantage.
