Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking an experienced software development professional to design, develop, and enhance applications from concept to production. You will work with architects, product managers, and end users across local, networked, cloud-based, or internet-related programs.

The role emphasizes leading large projects, coaching teams, and solving complex IT problems, with a focus on delivery and excellence in a collaborative, global environment.

Qualifications

• University Degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

• Managing large projects or processes and/or products and systems with limited oversight from management.
• Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
• Facing IT function related problems that are difficult and moderately complex.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

Specializes in planning, designing, and developing software systems (e.g., middleware, legacy, mainframe) and applications from concept phase to series production used in local, networked, cloudbased or internet related computer programs. Developers design, code, test, debug, and document program requirements, working with architects, product managers, and endusers in the development and enhancement of applications. Plans, designs, and develops software systems from concept phase to production in local networks or cloud based related computer programs. Codes in relevant languages. LEAD: Recognized subject matter expert in sub-function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include:

About you
