Job summary

Gamma Technologies is seeking an Application Engineer for Mobility Systems and Integration in Pune. Join our Applications Team to help customers maximize GT-SUITE and contribute to mobility system simulations across automotive domains, including electrified powertrains.

Requirements include a Master’s in mechanical engineering and 5+ years in mobility systems or 1D modeling, with GT-SUITE proficiency. Hybrid work model with strong collaboration and customer-focus support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 5+ years of mobility systems development or 1D modeling experience.
• Proficiency in GT-SUITE for system or component simulation.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI concepts and prompt engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.
• Experience with cloud and distributed computing is a plus.

What You Will Do

You will join our Applications Team to help our customers get the most out of our solutions and to leverage the knowledge learned from these interactions to continuously improve our software GT-SUITE, a sophisticated desktop software package for simulating almost any kind of engineering multi-physics system. As part of our mobility systems and integration team, you will focus on solutions for vehicle systems and their integration with multiple domains such as drivetrain, thermal management, and controls. This is an opportunity to contribute to the automotive and other transportation industry and more specifically the development of electrified powertrains by means of simulation.

• Assist customers in their use of GT-SUITE software to simulate mobility systems, such as ground vehicles, off-highway, marine, and rail systems
• Use customer feedback and interaction to design and test new GT-SUITE product features related to simulation methodologies, specifically related to mobility systems and multi-physics integration
• Opportunity to develop solutions to assist customers in advancing their simulation capability and thereby reduce reliance on physical testing
• Opportunity to research, design, prototype, and test software features to improve GT-SUITE model deployment workflows
• Demonstrate cutting edge software solutions for vehicle performance, energy management and systems integration to prospective customers
• Interact with established and emerging automotive companies through software evaluations, training classes, conferences, and marketing events
• Help evangelize the critical role Gamma Technologies plays in helping the industry on the Road to Zero Carbon

What You Will Bring

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required
• 5+ years of professional, post-graduate-level experience in mobility systems development or 1D modeling for model, software, or hardware in the loop applications
• Proficiency in GT-SUITE for system or component simulation
• Hands-on experience with GenAI based concepts and prompt engineering is a plus
• Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques is a plus
• Previous working experience with cloud and distributed computing technologies is a plus
