Job summary

Landmark Group is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Application Engineer (Agentic SaaS) to join Landmark Next in Bengaluru. You will design, develop and optimize multi-cloud SaaS apps using Next.js/React on the frontend and Python FastAPI on the backend.

You will implement multilingual UX, scalable data models, and RBAC within a multi-tenant architecture, collaborating across sourcing, planning and supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional full-stack software development experience in building features or modules within complex web/SaaS applications.
• REST API development in microservices pattern with RBAC.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL along with ORM/ODM frameworks.
• Proficient with Git and Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes on GCP/Azure is preferred.
• Nice to have: LangChain, LangGraph, TensorFlow.js, ONNX.js, FastAPI/Flask, Celery/Redis, and i18n experience.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS apps with internationalization.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: design, develop and deploy scalable Agentic SaaS applications with user-friendly frontend features in Next.js/React and integrating with backend services in Python (FastAPI).
• Visual Design: leverage CSS frameworks like Tailwind and design systems like ShadcnUI/RadixUI to create responsive interfaces.
• Internationalization & Localization: design multilingual UX for text and voice interactions using i18n frameworks.
• Data model and Database Design: model data across MongoDB and PostgreSQL, with cloud storage for media.
• AI/ML Embedding: implement client-side ML using TensorFlow.js, Transformers.js, and ONNX Runtime.
• Multi-Tenancy & Platform Features: develop core multi-tenant architecture, RBAC, and admin dashboards.
• Testing & Quality: write unit tests with Jest and Python Testing Library; end-to-end tests with Playwright.
• DevOps & Deployment: containerize with Docker, deploy to Kubernetes on GCP/Azure, maintain CI/CD.
• API & Documentation: develop APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and maintain clear docs.
• Continuous Learning: stay updated on new tech and propose improvements.
• Documentation: document technical designs and operational procedures.

Job Purpose

Landmark Group is looking for a Sr. Application Engineer (Full Stack) to join the Software Engineering Team within Landmark Next. As one of the founding members of engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing Agentic SaaS applications in multi-cloud (primarily Google & Azure) and multi-tenant architecture. You will collaborate closely with Business Team members (Sourcing, Buying, Planning, Supply Chain, etc.) within Landmark Brands as well as Garment Manufacturers and Fabric Suppliers primarily located in China & India. You will work with Digital, Data and IT support teams to ensure seamless integration, security and governance of Agentic SaaS platform for vertical integration of Retail.

Job Description

• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop and deploy scalable Agentic SaaS applications with user-friendly frontend features in Next.js/React and integrating with backend services in Python (FastAPI)
• Visual Design: Leverage CSS frameworks like Tailwind and design systems like ShadcnUI/RadixUI to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces
• Internationalization & Localization: Design and implement seamless multilingual user experience for both text and voice interactions leveraging internationalization (i18n) frameworks and translation services
• Data model and Database Design: Design and manage data models for multi-database environment, leveraging NoSQL Database (MongoDB) for core application data and auth, SQL Database (PostgreSQL) for structured data and object storage (Google Cloud Storage/Azure Data Lake Storage) for images, videos and other files.
• AI/ML Embedding: Implement and optimize client-side AI/ML features using libraries like TensorFlow.js, Transformers.js, and ONNX Runtime. You will also work with agentic AI patterns using LangChain & LangGraph.
• Multi-Tenancy & Platform Features: Develop the core multi-tenant architecture, including platform/tenant admin dashboards, role-based access control (RBAC), and organization management.
• Testing & Quality: Write comprehensive unit tests using Jest and python Testing Library to ensure code quality, reliability, and performance. Write functional tests (end to end) in Playwright to mimic the user behavior and test corner cases
• DevOps & Deployment: Collaborate with Platform Engineers to support deployment by containerizing the application with Docker, deploying to Kubernetes platforms on GCP/Azure and ensuring smooth CI/CD workflows.
• API & Documentation: Develop and document APIs using standards like OpenAPI and tools like Swagger, ensuring clear and maintainable code for team collaboration
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in frameworks for Data, Machine Learning, Agentic AI, Computer Aided design, etc.and provide recommendations on adopting new technologies or features to enhance the Agentic SaaS platform.
• Documentation: Document technical designs, procedures, and guidelines for application engineering and operations

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of professional full-stack software development experience in building features or modules within complex web/SaaS applications
• Rest API Development: Solid experience of Restful API development in microservices pattern with fault tolerance and RBAC
• Database Knowledge: Proven experience working with both NoSQL (like MongoDb) or SQL (like PostgreSQL) databases along with ODM/ORM frameworks like mongoose and drizzle.
• DevOps & Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., branching, pull requests), hands-on experience with Docker. Awareness of application deployment to a Kubernetes cloud service on GCP or Azure is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):
• Knowledge of Python AI frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or Hugging Face Transformers and Experience with client-side ML libraries (TensorFlow.js, ONNX.js) and web frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, etc. along with asynchronous task processing in queue using celery and redis will be preferred.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications with background in internationalization (i18n) frameworks is desirable
• Interest or experience in web-based 2D/3D graphics libraries (Konva.js, Three.js) and CAD libraries (Ex. makersjs) would be great addition
