Job summary

Landmark Digital, the digital arm of Landmark Group in Bengaluru, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Java and microservices expertise to build scalable backend platforms handling high traffic and transactions.

You will design and implement scalable microservices with Spring Boot, develop high-performance REST APIs, participate in architecture discussions, and optimize queries while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• 5.5–8 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Good understanding of database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Microservices architecture to build scalable backend platforms supporting high traffic and transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop high-performance REST APIs.
• Participate in architecture discussions and system design.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Optimize database queries and system performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills
