Acuity Analytics is expanding its Capital Markets team with a Senior Technical Architect who will lead modernization of enterprise platforms. The role demands hands-on leadership, bridging legacy systems to cloud-native designs, and influencing engineering excellence across globally distributed teams.

You will drive architecture roadmaps, ADRs, and secure, scalable solutions while guiding cross-functional teams through modern patterns and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
• 5+ years in Technical Architect or Technology Leadership roles.
• Hands-on expertise in C and C# .NET and cloud-native modernization.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-ready platforms.
• Deep understanding of microservices, SOA, DDD, CQRS, EDA, and scalable patterns.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure; Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD; and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture across applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure.
• Define architecture roadmaps, high/low-level designs, ADRs, security models, and non-functional requirements.
• Lead legacy modernization initiatives using patterns like Strangler Fig and Anti-Corruption Layer.
• Design scalable solutions using Microservices, DDD, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, and EDA.
• Architect secure and resilient integrations via REST, gRPC, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Drive observability, performance optimization, resiliency, and cloud adoption strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform/Bicep).
• Partner with stakeholders across US, EMEA, APAC to deliver technology solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect to lead the modernization of enterprise platforms within the Capital Markets / Financial Services domain. This role requires a hands-on architect who can bridge legacy systems and modern cloud-native architectures, driving technical strategy, solution design, and engineering excellence across globally distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture across applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure.
• Define architecture roadmaps, HLDs, LLDs, ADRs, security models, and non-functional requirements.
• Lead legacy modernization initiatives using patterns such as Strangler Fig, Anti-Corruption Layer, Adapters, and Facades.
• Design scalable solutions using Microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Architect secure and resilient integrations using REST APIs, gRPC, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Drive observability, performance optimization, resiliency, and cloud adoption strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), and release governance.
• Partner with stakeholders across the US, EMEA, and APAC to deliver business-aligned technology solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Capital Markets or Financial Services domain experience
• Fixed Income Securities Trading platform experience
• Knowledge of regulatory and security frameworks
• Native code performance engineering and secure interoperability experience (COM/DCOM, P/Invoke)

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
