Appian is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to join our Developer Relations team. Reporting to the Manager of Developer Relations, your mission is to engage, retain, excite, and educate developers on Appian’s strategy and innovations.

You will serve as an Appian evangelist, showcasing the excitement of Appian’s technology and the immense value of pursuing a career as an Appian developer. You will also act as a crucial internal advocate, ensuring the voice of the developer is heard throughout Appian.

Location & Work Policy

This role is based at our Appian Chennai office. Employees hired for this position are expected to be in the office 5 days a week to foster collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Engage with developers through comprehensive digital experiences and high-energy in‑person events.
• Produce compelling content and hands‑on experiences tailored for digital mediums and interactive workshops.
• Evangelize Appian’s newest technology to developers and promote the long‑term value of a developer career.
• Act as the internal voice for developers, synthesizing community feedback to influence Appian’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
• 3–5 years of direct experience working as an Appian developer.
• Deep technical proficiency in implementing solutions on the Appian platform.
